Want your collections to be discovered by customers? Introducing Popular Collections.
Our team has been working on new ways to promote your photography to customers on the commercial site.
The Collections update in the navigation bar shows customers your Collections based on their popularity.
The popularity of the Collections are based on customer behaviour and will rank Collections higher in popularity if a customer has:
- Bought an image from the Collection (generated direct sales)
- Browsed the collection and gone on to buy an image outside of the Collection (generated interest/indirect sales)
The algorithm will also track customers for up to 7 days, meaning if they have viewed your Collection and made a purchase in 7 days, it will count towards it's popularity.
The new algorithm has been designed to ensure that collections are ranked fairly and cannot be affected by artists or other member's of the community. Only the buying customer decides it's ranking. Sounds good right?
