Weekly Update: Real-Time Image Views & Paul Andrews Podcast

Last week we released the ability to see what customers are searching for, as they are searching for it, in real-time. The response has been incredible!

But we wanted to take it a step further for you.

What if you could see the specific images that they view, as they are viewing them, in real-time?

Real-Time Image Views

This week, we are excited to announce that real-time image views will soon be available!

Below you can see a preview of how it will look on your artist home page.

But how do you know why a customer viewed an image?

We know that understanding how customers navigate the website is important to you.

By clicking the 'Show Details' button, you will also be able to see which search term or collection brought the customer to that image!

This will help you know exactly what keywords you should add to your images, and what collections you should create within your portfolio.

We cannot wait to see how this feature will help you optimise your portfolio to be discovered by customers.

But what can you do now? Uploading photographs is the best way to get prepared for the release of the new tool.

What To Expect With Live Data

As live data becomes more accessible to you as a photographer, it is important to understand where strange results may come from.

The data really is live, as some of these strange results have proved!

If you see strange searches such as strings of numbers, unrelated URLs, or bizarre search terms, do not be alarmed. These could be caused by 'bots'.

Bots are a normal, healthy part of internet behaviour. Many companies use them to collect website information, such as search engines like Google or Bing.

We are working hard to remove these results from your new tools to make them as accurate as possible for you. In the meantime, if you see anything strange, know that it is perfectly normal and we are aware of it.

We cannot wait to see how your new tools will help make selling your photography to customers easier.

Thank you being a part of another amazing week for our community,

The Photo4me Team
